State Special Operations Group Officers Receive International Certification from NAEMT

Donato Guerra, State of Mexico – Members of the Special Operations Group of the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) have received international certification from the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) in the United States. This recognition follows their participation in a specialized course conducted by the Mexican Navy Secretariat in Donato Guerra, State of Mexico.
SSPE Secretary Manuel Alonso García emphasized that this training is part of the ongoing high-level education program for officers under his command.
“Training is a priority in law enforcement, as it ensures that personnel have the necessary knowledge to handle any situation that may arise. This course, in particular, equips them with skills to save a colleague’s life or their own,” he stated.
Enhanced Skills and Tactical Training
The international certification not only validates the officers’ knowledge but also enables them to share their expertise with other security personnel, further strengthening the force’s capabilities.
During the training, officers developed key skills to enhance their performance, including evacuation protocols. They also participated in practical exercises across various real-life scenarios, such as:
- Providing medical assistance under fire
- Field tactical medical support
- Emergency evacuation procedures
Commitment to Professionalization
Through these efforts, the SSPE reinforces its commitment to the continuous training and professionalization of its members, ensuring they are fully prepared to respond to any emergency and safeguard the community effectively.
