With the aim of ensuring the comprehensive development of students in Aguascalientes, Governor Teresa Jim\u00e9nez has launched the Hot and Cold School Breakfast Program. This program benefits 26,750 girls, boys, and young people from 550 educational institutions each month, from preschool to higher education.<\/p>\n
Aurora Jim\u00e9nez Esquivel, the first volunteer of the State DIF, emphasized the importance of equipping school cafeterias to facilitate food preparation. In this regard, she reported that a significant amount was invested this year to equip each cafeteria with tables, benches, grills, sinks, refrigerators, pans, blenders, microwave ovens, and other utensils. This action seeks to guarantee a suitable environment for the preparation of nutritious food.<\/p>\n
For his part, Olinsser Juan Guti\u00e9rrez Herrera, director of Community Development at the State DIF, detailed that the main ingredients used in the school cafeterias include milk, tuna, whole wheat pasta, rice, lentils, beans, oats, vegetables, fruits, and chicken, among others. This approach ensures a complete, balanced, and varied diet for the beneficiaries.<\/p>\n
This effort reflects the commitment of the State Government and the State DIF to strengthen the well-being of children and youth in Aguascalientes, promoting an educational environment that fosters their integral growth.<\/p>\n
