The Integral Water Model of Aguascalientes (MIAA) has announced the implementation of an innovative solution to combat one of the most common problems in water distribution networks: scale formation. Through the installation of ion-based devices, the agency seeks to modify the polarity of water and prevent the accumulation of calcium deposits in pipes. This technology, which is being tested in the Lomas del Ajedrez and Lomas de San Jorge neighborhoods, promises to remove up to 80% of existing scale within four months. This aims to avoid the frequent replacement of PVC pipe sections, caused by blockages and limiting the water supply to homes.<\/p>\n
In addition to installing these devices, MIAA is also working on mixing water in mega-tanks to reduce water hardness and complement the action of ion-based devices. With this initiative, MIAA reaffirms its commitment to providing higher quality and more efficient drinking water service to the people of Aguascalientes.<\/p>\n
