Luis Antonio López, known as El Mimoso, was recently arrested in Monterrey, Nuevo León, in connection with an alleged domestic violence case. Earlier this year, López was publicly and legally accused by his wife, María Elena Delfín Valdez, who claimed to have suffered both physical and psychological abuse at the hands of the artist. While the singer vehemently denied the allegations, the legal process continued. Due to his repeated failure to appear before the judge, López was arrested by municipal authorities yesterday afternoon.

According to local media, the arrest lasted only a few hours. López agreed to attend an online hearing where a criminal judge addressed the charges against him. Afterward, El Mimoso was released. Information from the program Chismorreo on Multimedios revealed that the singer was subjected to certain restrictions, including a prohibition on leaving the city. This limitation could potentially affect his upcoming professional commitments, including a scheduled concert on January 31 at the Auditorio Nacional.

In January of this year, Delfín took to social media to expose the alleged abuse she had suffered during her marriage to Luis Antonio. She even revealed that two investigations had been opened in Monterrey, but despite this, no significant action had been taken by the authorities at that time.
